Having time to sit down and read has become a luxury.
The executives I work with still want to learn. They simply learn differently now: while commuting, walking, exercising, travelling, or between meetings. Learning has moved into the spaces between work.
That’s why I’m excited to share that the Artificial Organizations Audiobook is now available!
After Unlearn launched, something unexpected happened. For the first three months, the audiobook outsold the print edition. My publisher kept asking, “What were we doing differently?”
Looking back, I think we simply met people where they already were.
So when it came to Artificial Organizations, I wanted to make the book available in the format busy leaders were asking for.
I also wanted to make one important change.
Last time, the publisher hired a professional actor to narrate Unlearn. This time, I wanted these ideas to come directly from me.
That meant spending five days in the recording studio reading every word. As someone with dyslexia, it wasn’t always easy, but it was one of the most rewarding parts of creating this book. I wanted listeners to hear the stories, lessons, and experiences exactly as I intended them, in my voice and storytelling style.
The best part?
The entire audiobook is just 3½ hours. Most people can finish it over a couple of commutes in a single week.
Like the book itself, it’s intentionally short, practical, and designed to be put into action.
Last week we crossed the milestone of 10,000 books sold, and released preview chapters of the audiobook for you to try out.
We’re excited to see what uptake the audiobook has to continue to help executives and leaders build better judgment, redesign how work gets done, and start making better decisions immediately.
And the learning doesn’t stop there.
Visit artificialorganizations.com or subscribe to the newsletter at barryoreilly.com to download the supporting templates, workbooks, exercises, and tools that accompany the book, helping you put the ideas into practice inside your own organization.
We’ve also completed more than 10 coaching programs for many world-leading organizations since the book launched. Get in touch if you’d like to learn more about how we can work together.
Better organizations aren’t built by consuming more content. They’re built by making better decisions.
I believe this audiobook will help you do exactly that.
If you’ve been waiting for the audiobook, I hope you enjoy listening.
And if you’ve already read the book, I’d really appreciate you taking a minute to leave a review. It helps more leaders discover these ideas.
